WELCOME TO LOCAL FOOD ALLIANCE EVENTS SYSTEM
South East Food Show
16/Oct/2007
South East Food Show See below for details on this show at the Hop Farm in Paddock Wood

The South East’s new Food distribution Local Food Alliance hub based in Kent made its first public appearance at the South East Food Show at the Hop Farm in Paddock Wood, Kent.

The LFA Marketing Executive, Caelia Butcher said the

“ Local Food Alliance or LFA used the Hop Farm as a public platform to show off its new Oast presentation marquees and to introduce the LFA to speciality food admirers who attended the show”

Nicholas Moore a local Organic Apple grower and apple juice producer based near Teyham in Kent was “very impressed with the stand and its display” and emphasised that “the Local Food Alliance was what Kent needed. A structured distribution and sales company that promoted Local Food in the South East’’  Public are showing concerns regarding the environment and the LFA are running a low food miles campaign MILES BETTER – MILES FRESHER.

Nikki Lewis the award  winning jam producer Fairbed Orchard Products based in Sittingbourne said “ Local Food Alliance has the experience and the facilities to deliver and supply products and fresh produce to retailers, publicans and restaurants in the South East and  S.E. London areas  - I look forward to a long relationship with the LFA”

Caelia Butcher went on to say that she was dedicated to supporting Local farmers and specialty producers. “Our marketing campaigns will not only include our retailers but we will also be supporting Community projects promoting buy local and our Miles Better and Miles Fresher campaigns”

Rob Weaver the business Development manager said “the S. E. Food Show was a great success for the Local Food Alliance as we were able to meet new producers, show our colours to the public and make ourselves known to retailers, publicans and the Local Supermarket who sponsored the event” He stressed that it was important that all outlets in the South East Region and in particular Kent were aware that the LFA is able to supply fresh produce and specialty foods. I urged growers, specialty food producers  and retailers to make contact with me or Caelia.
