We are also able to supply locally grown Cultivated Exotic Mushrooms

 

Shiitake – Worldwide, one of the most popular exotic mushrooms. The colour of the Shiitake is pale flesh with a dark cap. The flavour is quite intense and slightly smoky, giving great flavour to any dish it is added to.

 

Shii-meji – This is a mushroom with a Wonderful aroma with a firm texture and an almost peppery taste, especially if you eat the stork raw. This is a small mushroom with an attractive dark “cracked” cap and stout pale stem.

 

NamekoThis is a small mushroom it has dark honey in colour with a small cap and slender stem. It has a delicate almost chicken like flavour.

 

Erynjii-   Also known as the King Oyster in the United States. This mushroom has a long stout tuber shaped stem with a smallish oyster shaped cap.  It has a very creamy flavour and goes well with most meat, poultry ad fish. It is extremely popular with chefs.
